Job Description
Established Chico Property Management business seeks Resident Managers
Salary + 2 bed 1 bath unit with utilities included upon completion of training
Property Details: 24 unit building
Work schedule: 30 hours each week (2 hours office time each day, Monday-Friday)
Job Duties:
- Process applications
- Inspect the grounds, pick up trash daily, keeping laundry area tidy
- Handle personal information and resident complaints
- Rent collection
- Clerical duties
- Great people skills and communication skills
Must be organized
Required:
Must have prior rental experience
Must have prior money handling experience
Must have prior customer service experience
Team may need additional income to supplement wages (Both working part-time or one person working fulltime outside of resident manager position is recommended)
Drug screen
Background check
Credit check (through Client Company)
Clean DMV record
Proof of vehicle insurance
Must have own vehicle
Work duties and responsibilities:
Walk property and ensure all trash/debris is picked up
Sweep office, vacuum, dust
Check and return messages
Schedule new/outstanding work orders
Communication skills, enthusiasm and good sense of humor
Passion for providing superior customer service
Common sense and good judgment
Organized and dependable
Ability to assist in the resolution of resident, personnel and budgetary problems
Maintain a neat and clean appearance and project a professional image
Some knowledge of administrative and bookkeeping functions
Basic computer skills are necessary
Mechanically inclined
