Position overview: Deliver, install and configure desktop printers at client locations

Duties and required skills:

• Transport printers from the main warehouse to various client sites using company vehicles
• Serve as a professional point of contact with client management and IT staff
• Communicate installation timelines, requirements, and completion status clearly
• Provide basic usage guidance or information to end users as needed
• Technical troubleshooting abilities
• Physical capability to move and position printing equipment safely
• Push, position, and secure industrial printers on wheels into designated locations.
• Lift and carry desktop printers (up to 60 lbs) safely.
• Unbox, assemble, and install printers according to client specifications.
• Connect printers to client networks and perform basic configuration for end-user readiness.
• Troubleshooting & Support
• Entry-level printer diagnostics: connectivity, software drivers, and hardware basics
• Identify issues requiring escalation to higher-level technical support.
• Documentation & Reporting: installation logs, service reports, delivery documentation
• Maintain communication with dispatch, warehouse, and project coordinators
  
  Minimum Requirements:
  Personable, professional, and presentable while working with clients.
  Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  Basic proficiency with standard computer hardware, operating systems, and office software.
  Ability to safely move, lift, and transport equipment up to 60 lbs.
  Valid driver s license with a clean DMV record.
  Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
  
  Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
  Previous experience in printer installation, IT support, or field service work.
  Familiarity with printer drivers, network settings, and basic hardware setup.
  Customer service or client-facing experience
