Woodland manufacturer seeks Plant Operator for full-time opportunity!

What's it all about?
Monitoring plant operations via a computerized monitoring system
Repairing the machines: Spot malfunctions early and initiate appropriate repair procedures
including resolve the problem by resetting or performing minor repairs. Breakdowns often happen, and you need a deep understanding of every process to troubleshoot such issues.
Load/unload shipments that need unpacking or shipping. Physically load/unload trucks or oversee the operations
Safety adherence: Carrying out safety checks and ensure safety protocols and legal codes are followed
Maintaining the machines and plant site: lubricate and clean-up the machinery, equipment and worksite
Requirements and skills
1 year experience as a plant operator or mechanic in an industrial setting
Must be familiar with the basic tools related to mechanical maintenance
Experience operating a fork lift, man lift, or loader or willingness to be trained and certified
Basic knowledge of sensor systems, electric motors, and control switches.
Demonstrated writing skills in English
MS Office Suite
Strong interest in innovation in renewable energy systems
Ability to lift 50 pounds and sit and stand for extended periods of time
Ability to listen to and follow instructions and safe practices
Valid driver s license
Schedule: 8-12 hour shifts: M-F 8am to 4:30pm With availability for OT
