Arbuckle business office seeks Full-Time Payroll Clerk/HR Assistant!

What's it all about: Support the HR department with daily administrative and payroll support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepares payroll on a regular schedule
Garnishments, taxes, direct deposits
Assist with the preparation of reports, correspondence, and other documents related to payroll
Collect and records time off requests
Review all benefits, calculate bonuses, commissions or other incentive pay
Maintain payroll control workbook
Process final check & paperwork, file documents, updating status changes and terminations
Update benefits spreadsheets
Provides information as needed for annual and periodic audits
Assists with breaks/lunches for staff and assist with daily mail run
Help to coordinate HR training/events including set up/tear down of events
Follows and encourages coworkers to understand and adhere to Cal/OSHA regulations
Understands and adheres to HACCP/SQF food safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices
Required Education and Experience
Associate degree or equivalent and six months to one-year related experience
Requires excellent phone skills and communication (verbal and written)
Experience with payroll software and industry experience preferred
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Job Requirements
Must have 1-2 yrs. Of payroll exp., proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, and possess a clean driving record.
