Position overview: Performs a variety of complex administrative, financial and related work

Duties, responsibilities and required skills:

• Oversee daily financial operations and provide leadership to the finance department
• Take ownership of the company s financial well-being and reporting responsibilities
• Prepare, analyze, and present monthly financial statements
• Ensure all government reporting requirements are met accurately and on time
• Compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and sound financial practices
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Utilize QuickBooks to manage financial data and reporting
• Work closely with the Owner/President to support financial planning and decision-making
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls
• Coordinate with external CPAs, auditors, or consultants as needed
• Skilled in QuickBooks and understanding of Construction Accounting highly preferred
• 5+ years of financial management or full-charge bookkeeping experience
• Experience in construction or contracting with revenues exceeding $10 million is a plus
• Strong understanding of Construction Accounting is highly preferred
• High level of integrity, accountability, and discretion
• Demonstrated leadership in managing financial workflows and personnel
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
