Live Oak manufacturer seeks Safety Technician!
Bring your Safety expertise and join the team!
Wages: $25/hr. To start!
Full-Time: Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 5pm
What's it all about: Assist with safety training and assist with inspections and compliance
Duties, responsibilities and requirements:
We are looking for an experience Safety Technician that has experience in manufacturing
Assist with Safety training, inspections and compliance
Safety reporting and office duties
Inspect work areas and equipment to ensure compliance with company, State and Federal safety policies and regulations
Document safety inspections: cite dangerous areas/procedures and recommend corrective procedures
Assist in tracking and documenting accidents and near misses to understand causes and develop solutions
Training and certifications for the safe and proper use of forklifts and pallet trucks by becoming a certified trainer
Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm

Job Requirements
Proficient with Microsoft Office/Power Pt. Bilingual Spanish and English, possess excellent communication skills, has knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations and strong organizational skills and knowledge of inspection tools.
