Job Description
Shop Mechanic needed for outstanding Temp-to-Hire opportunity!
Bring your equipment mechanic skills and step-up to this great full time job!
Key functions: Maintenance, repair and record keeping for equipment and machinery
Wages: $25 to $35/hr. To start + Temp-to-Hire!
Whats is all about: Maintain and repair off-highway and on-highway heavy construction and aerial equipment
Duties and responsibilities:
Able to work under direction of a lead mechanic to diagnose equipment repairs
Perform regular equipment maintenance
Preparing work orders and ordering parts
Adhere to company policies and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both coworkers and customers
Training:
Will be trained on the job working on different types of equipment
Participate in online training platform
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 and have reliable transportation
Must be computer literate to diagnose equipment issues
Must be able to work as team
Must be mechanically inclined
Required skills:
Mechanic shop experience with engine troubleshooting and repair
Electrical and hydraulic component knowledge
Tools: Welders, torches, air tools, lathes, mills, brakes
Welding: Basic sheet metal and ferrous metal welding and fabrication
Working knowledge of tractors, backhoes, farm machinery
Forklift operation
