Job Description

Equipment maintenance, assessments, repairs and installations

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
Performs painting, minor plumbing, stoppages/leaks, change light bulbs and general clean-up
Knowledge of electrical and plumbing (copper/galvanized/plastic) how to use and install each
Perform Preventative Maintenance and record-keeping
Food Safety: Plant, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations
Food Handling/Production, HACCP, SQF 2000 System, Food Safety a plus
Great verbal, written communication, Basic mathematic skills, multi-lingual a plus
Must be able to read and interpret hazard labels, OSHA warnings and product use instructions
Must possess a valid California Driver's License.
Fast-paced production, Lifting 10-20+ lbs. Exposure to cold (34 40 Degrees F) in cold storage

The typical schedule will be eight or ten-hour shifts, Monday to Friday 1:00pm or 1:30pm to 9:30pm or 10:00pm
Pays $18.00 to $23.00 DOE
Overtime and Saturday shifts expected; Sunday shifts seldom
