Job Description
Chico contractor seeks Lead Metal Siding Installer to perform skilled rough and finish carpentry work on residential, commercial, and/or manufactured housing projects
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a commitment to quality, safety, and completing projects on schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform rough carpentry work, including wall and floor framing.
- Complete finish carpentry tasks such as installing trim, molding, doors, and other finishing details.
- Install siding and skirting around the base of trailers and manufactured homes.
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite.
- Work independently and collaboratively with crew members to complete projects on schedule.
