Established Paint business is seeking a skilled Certified Journey Level Painter with experience in commercial and/or industrial painting.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of surface preparation, painting techniques, and the proper use of painting equipment and materials.

This position requires someone who can work independently, maintain high-quality standards, and follow all safety procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, and priming.
• Apply paint, stains, coatings, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, sprayers, and other equipment.
• Mix and match paints and coatings according to specifications.
• Inspect completed work to ensure a professional, high-quality finish.
• Operate and maintain painting tools and equipment.
• Follow blueprints, work orders, and job specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines.
• Perform other painting-related duties as assigned.
  
  Qualifications:
  Certified Journey Level Painter or equivalent experience.
  Several years of professional painting experience.
  Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and coatings.
  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  Good attention to detail and quality workmanship.
  Ability to safely use ladders, lifts, and painting equipment.
  Valid driver s license may be required.
  Ability to lift, carry, and move painting materials and equipment as needed.
  
  Schedule: Full-time Monday to Friday 6:30am to 3:00pm
