Position Overview:
Ensure individuals with disabilities learn job requirements to assist them in the process of paid vocational training
Responsibilities and duties:
Participate in staff/client meetings, conferences and training sessions
Be an advocate for individuals receiving services
Complete assessments and assignments, Comply with all Policies and Procedures
Design/develop adaptive equipment necessary for individual needs
Ensure that possible illnesses and injuries for each job placement are known
Follow all Policies and Procedures to prevent an illness or injury
Exploration of interests leading to informed choices/increased independence
Social integration of clients at employment site
I.D. Safety hazards and reporting such hazards to Program Coordinator
Maintain confidentiality of client records
Maintain timesheet and attendance for each client and chart progress of clients
Operate equipment safely and provide ongoing training to clients at work site
Schedule: 7:30am-3:00pm
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Maintain a positive attitude at all times
Must be eighteen (18) years of age
