Whats it all about: Operate and maintain farm equipment/buildings + all crop duties
Starting wage $18.00 to $21.00 DOE + Company benefits including retirement upon hire!
Duties and qualifications:
Operate various farm equipment safely and efficiently.
Perform maintenance on farm machinery and buildings as needed.
Recognize and report needed repairs to equipment and buildings.
Pruning, shoveling, sweeping.
Misc. Shop and shop yard maintenance.
Burning of pruned debris.
Perform various other tasks while working independently.
Report problems with irrigation systems.
Execute all of the above duties in a safe and reasonable manner within all federal, state and local laws and regulations.
Qualifications
Bilingual in Spanish and English
Minimum of three years of work experience in a related career
Must have and maintain a CA Driver s license.
Be capable of lifting 50 lbs.
Demonstrate the necessary skills, knowledge and understanding necessary to carry out each responsibility and duty as outlined above.
Must demonstrate clear and effective verbal and written communication.
This job will occasionally require physical abilities such as driving, lifting, reaching, bending, etc., which must be carried out in a safe and reasonable manner.
