Position duties:

• Connects businesses to agency programs and job seekers
• Interact with visiting customers and clients
• Understanding the needs of employers to effectively assist businesses with their hiring needs
• Cultivate relationships with local businesses and connect them with job seekers
• Assisting job seekers to find self-sufficient employment
• Develop and enhance business and community relationships
• Evaluate and certify eligibility of program participants for job training and education
• Create employment plans and coordinating basic job preparation activities
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive client files and tracking systems
• Prepare clear and concise case notes and display excellent organizational skills
• Must be self-motivated, self-directed, and able to effectively plan work to meet goals
• Hiring practices, employment and labor laws, marketing and sales background preferred
• Software programs including Microsoft Word, Access, Outlook and Excel
  
  
  REQUIREMENTS
  
  High School diploma or AA/AS degree and ability to attain workforce development and staffing industry certification within 9 months of hire is required as a condition of employment.
  Education and experience equivalent to two years of college in human resources, psychology, business administration, social services or closely related experience is preferred. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  Driver’s License w/DMV printout, Drug Screen and Background Check
