Paradise medical practice seeks Clerical Support/Medical Biller Trainee!

Fantastic position with starting wage of $21/hr. To start!
Position overview: This position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to begin or advance their career in medical billing!
Required skills and duties:
Assisting with daily clerical and billing tasks
Management of the front desk reception area
Interacting with any public inquiries or needs
Prior experience with the Athena Health system is a strong bonus but not required
Data entry, document management, and correspondence
Assist in preparing and submitting accurate insurance claims and patient statements
Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
Maintain and update patient records
Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and insurance companies
Uphold confidentiality and security standards in handling sensitive information
Qualifications:
HS diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in medical billing or related fields is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to be punctual, reliable, and maintain a consistent work schedule.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficient in basic computer applications (e.G., Microsoft Office Suite).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm
Friday 7:30am to 11:30am
