Position overview: Oversee and manage all financial operations

Duties and required skills:
Manage all company financial operations including AP/AR and payroll
Budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management
Monthly and annual financial reports
Financial controls and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance
Business strategy, cost efficiency and growth planning
Coordinate with tax and external accountants
Confidentiality and accuracy are a must!
Manage payroll processing, ensuring compliance with California labor laws
Skilled with QuickBooks to handle daily financial transactions and reporting
HR duties: employee records, ensuring compliance with employment laws
Records management ensuring all documents are filed and stored correctly
Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
Assist with budgeting and forecasting
Administrative: phones correspondence and supplies
Regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with all regulations
Coordinate with external accountants and auditors as needed

Qualifications and requirements:
Verified experience in a similar role
QuickBooks online accounting software
Analytical and problem solving skills
Construction, drilling or related industry experience a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
