Redding non-profit seeks part-time Bookkeeper!
Position is 15 to 18 hrs per week

Bring your accounting, payroll and administrative skills for this wonderful opportunity! 

Position Summary:

Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for both a church and its affiliated school.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable & Receivable
  • Process invoices and pay bills in a timely manner.
  • Maintain vendor and payment records.
  • Record and track tuition payments, donations, and other income.
  • Monitor outstanding balances and follow up as needed.

    Payroll
  • Process payroll for church and school employees.
  • Maintain payroll records and employee deductions.
  • Prepare payroll-related reports and tax filings.
  • Assist with employee benefit payments.

    School Financial Support
  • Maintain student tuition and fee records.
  • Assist with budgets and financial reports.

Work with school administration on financial matters.

Qualifications
Understanding of basic bookkeeping principles, including debits and credits.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
