South Shasta County agency seeks skilled Bookkeeper!
$23.31 to $29.59/hr. To start DOE!

Position overview: Performs a variety of complex administrative, financial and related work

Duties and required skills:

• Preparing and reviewing documents used for recording and maintaining financial transactions
• Maintains and is responsible for the posting of all journal and ledgers.
• Prepares customer cash receipts through data entry.
• Generates all customer account receivable billing.
• Prepares spreadsheets as instructed by General Manager.
• Prepares monthly disbursement reports and quarterly income/expense
• Assists in compilation of annual budget
• Maintain a records system of accounting
• Prepares payroll and payroll tax reports.
• Responsible for the financial transactions to creditors.
• Composes and types bookkeeping correspondence reports
• Annual audit and State reports.
• Use office equipment such as computers, copiers, and fax machines.
• Hearing and vision within normal ranges with or without correction.
• Occasionally required change of working hours and/or work overtime.
• Qualification and Skill Requirement:
• Preferred possession of AA Degree in bookkeeping and/or accounting
