What's it all about:
Greet patients and visitors and assist by performing clerical and administrative duties
Responsibilities:
Greet and visitors
Complete initial registration info
Data entry and updates into EHR (electronic health record)
Schedule appointments and reminders
Verify medical coverage, eligibility and co-pays
Payments, receipts, balances and credit card transactions
Admin support
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Microsoft Word and 40 wpm typing, calculator
Bilingual: English/Spanish, English Punjab, English/Hmong preferred but not required
Medical Assistant Certificate required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Schedule/Hours:
Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm
